From the 3rd to the 5th of February, at the CN l’HUB, the kick off meeting of the European project NOVIS – No Violence in Sport was held.
The educators of the project Io Tifo Positivo, the italian project against violence in sport, welcomed the other partners: Centro Giovanile di Formazione Sportiva di Prato, the project coordinator, Regione Toscana, CONI and the other 9 organizations from Holland, Romania, Spain, Greece, Poland, Bulgaria.
The protagonists of these intense days are also Alessandro Cannavò, promoter of the project through the Fondazione Candido Cannavò, and Flavio Portaluppi, general manager of Olimpia Milano who has been working with Comunità Nuova as part of the Euroleague One Team.
A very important meeting that allowed dialogue among different realities, combining skills such as those of Io Tifo Positivo, active for a decade in the promotion of sport values, and that of the CGFS of Prato, the largest Italian polisportiva with over 7000 members.
Novis project aims at expanding the experience of Io Tifo Positivo in several European countries and enhancing sport as a social aggregative sphere and as an educational and growth tool.
Alessandro Cannavò has collected the legacy of his father Candido who had seen the great potential of Novis: to involve actively parents in the educational path.
